Description
Tiny Tails of the Vahana Crew
Long ago, and also not so long ago, in a temple that could be anywhere; on a hill, near a river, or maybe just down the road…the gods were resting.
The prayers had been sung. The bells had been rung.
The lamps still glowed, soft and golden.
In that quiet moment, the vahanas stretched their paws, their hooves, their wings.
They looked at one another.
“Well,” said Mooshika, twitching his whiskers.
“No one’s watching.”
Mayil fluffed his feathers.
Nandi opened one slow eye.
Garuda glanced at the clouds.
Kamadhenu smiled without saying a word.
They weren’t going to cause trouble…not really.
They just had stories of their own.
Small stories. Secret ones.
Ones they never told while the gods were watching.
But tonight, if you listen closely, you might hear them begin.
One pawstep at a time. One feather, one hoof, one whisper.
Because even the ones who carry gods have dreams of their own.
